But I've also have good news...

I've booked my flight to Canada :D
I'm leaving from Amsterdam on July 30th... and I'll be back on September 1st!!!
Isn't that exciting... finally going to my best friend Candace... wooohoooo:)

I've sad news...

my cat Sammy died 2 weeks ago:( and I'm very sad about it!
We think he fell from the bench (since a few weeks he was sleeping on top of it... instead of in it) in his sleep and he had a Paraplegia... he couldn't move his hind legs, so he also couldn't walk!
We found him on a Saturday morning and we went to the vet immediately, he said that Sammy had a little chance to heal...
but he didn't, we've been 5 days to the vet... but the last day he said: "if this was MY cat... this would be the end, if you go any further... it will be a punishment for him!"
Here are some pictures of the last days from him,
this was on Saturday, when we got home from the vet

the next day we've moved him to the living room

we took him to the vet in a laundry basket, people kept asking me how I could held a cat just sitting in there without trying to escape and if it wasn't that sad, I've could have laughed about it!

Look at him... he's asking to help him with his eyes :`(

this was his last day... and his last picture... you can see that his muscles in his hind legs are dissappeared...


Here's a picture from the day before he fell... one of his most favorite spots to be... laying on my chair between my legs... snoring and spinning as the best...


I'm gonna miss him, but I'm glad he doesn't have to have pain anymore!

Christmasdays are over

It's been a while since I've posted here!
I've made a few "last day" cards for Christmas,
they are for very close friends,
but I wasn't able to make some earlier.
This one is the first one I've made with the Martha Stewart punch I got from Candace.

the stamps are Magnolia stamps from Sweden.




and the last one is made with a die cut sheet


These 2 cards I've made for my December card class, I got my inspiration from Marije's workshop at "Cards at the castle"


I've made some alternative Christmas "cards", I used plastic Christmas baubles, filled with chocolates and I've added a tag with wishes on a ribbon

Cards at the Castle - Christmascards

On Saturday November 15th I've been to Doorn for a workshopday from Paper and Pictures It was fantastic ;)
I met Linda (lindaflens from Royal Lemon MB) before we started and we enjoyed our day together!!
We've got 5 workshops, they were all different and totally awesome!
I will show you the pictures from the cards I've made!

First we had a workshop from Paulien, she made a great distress card


The second workshop was from Marije and Jeanet (Who was ill that day and whom we missed very much),they made a name card, a menu card and a Christmas card, all black and white.


Next workshop was from Jolan she made a Christmas card, made of coasters, you can hang on your wall.
It isn't finished yet, but I'll show it so you can see what it is.


Then it was Lea and moon 's time!!!
We made a cute little box with gift tags.

And last but not least we had a workshop from Tiets, she made a sketch (of course :P) and made the card with some gorgeous paper and a Magnolia stamp.

Ameland

It's a long time since I've posted something here...
watch out this one's gonna be a long one :P

Jan turned 50 on September 23 and he always said he would be on vacation on his birthday:P
and we were... we went to one of the Wadden Islands; Ameland.
it's a Dutch island and it's very beautiful.
here are some pictures so you can all see how it looks like!

On Jan's Birthday we went for a seals tour, the weather wasn't that good, but we went anyway... it was great... we saw a lot of seals and we got fresh shrimps from a shrimp fisherman




For Jan's Birthday we got a breakfast from his youngest brother and his wife:D

Made a new card

for someones 50th Anniversary:)
I've masked the girl stamp (liked how it turned out:D)
I also used the new ColorCore Cardstock and my Cuttlebug!
for the flowers I've used 2 flower punches and the pin I've made myself;)
